Current Animation
I am currently coming up with ideas for an animation project to display on the windows of the IMM building. I'm working in a group and we are currently coming up with new ideas. Fell free to post a few suggestions.

Mask Drawing
I drew a mask for class but it came out so well that I might use it later on. Once it's completed of course.

Here is a rough sketch of a character idea I had. This is the one I based off of my friend Kyle.

Skyward Sword + Other Intriguing Things I Saw.
During my trip to the New york Anime Convention/ Comic-Con, I was able to play a demo of Nintendo's latest addition to the Legend of Zelda Series, Skyward Sword. This game makes great use of Nintendo's Wii Motion+ with this game. The game responds fluidly to the users interaction to the controller and was a lot more precise than I thought it was going to be. I normally had my gripes about the art approach they were taking, but now that I saw it in front of me, I am starting to like it more than I originally did.
I was also able to talk to a bunch of game and animation designers who were nice enough to give me a demo of their program that will greatly assist me when I start creating animations. There were also a large number of artists with different art styles that not only impressed, but inspired me as well to work with new ways of creating art.

Review and Possible Inspiration From Nintendo + Others
This weekend I plan on attending the annual New York Anime Convention and Comic-Con. There I will get to witness a plethora of art styles that may inspire me to do some new styles of work. One of the booths that will be there that I am most interested in is the Nintendo booth. There I will get to play an early release of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Super Mario 3DS, and Mario Kart 7. With these I will not only have some fun playing titles I love, but I will also see how well Nintendo has been working on their motion controls and 3D vision. I am more interested in the motion controls since a few projects I thought of involve the Wiimote+. I'll give a posting next week when I get the chance.

Rest In Peace Steve Jobs
He was one of the greatest innovators of our times. Not trying to sound like an ass, but everyone should take a moment to thank him for all of the great things he has given us. The smartphone era he helped create. The main igniter of the tablet age. The man who put his style of computer in a lot of our hands. The iconic movies Pixar put out. And many many more. He was a true icon, and will surely be missed.
Rest in Peace

Modeling
I've started a basic modeling sketch for a character design for animation. It is a bug/alien-like creature that plays a box guitar. I based some of the personality off of my friend Kyle and I will hopefully get to make an 3D model of him in the next few weeks.

What is this blog going to be about?
This blog will be more of an online critique of my portfolio along with my own personal view on the technology and game industry. Here I will try my best to post new works and give a brief description on how it was done and the though process behind it. This blog will also try to dive into the thought process and inspiration of an artist. I may stray off from these topics every once in awhile if deemed fit or I might just go on in random tangents.None the less you may be in for an enjoyable experience.
Hello there
This is the first official post of my new blog. I'm not quite sure about what I will be blogging about exactly. It could be about art or interactive multimedia. Who knows, there may be a witty anecdote here and there. Well, look forward to my posts and I'll look forward to your feedback.
